Mukuralinda, who had been serving as Deputy Government Spokesperson since December 2021, was a seasoned lawyer, former national prosecutor, and well-known musician.
Born in Kigali in 1970, he pursued his early education at Ecole Secondaire de Rwamagana before enrolling in the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where he earned a law degree in 1998.
His legal career saw him take on significant roles, including National Prosecutor and spokesperson for the National Public Prosecution Authority.
Beyond his legal and government work, Mukuralinda was also a passionate musician. He composed several popular songs, including Tsinda Batsinde, an anthem for Rwanda's national football team, as well as Gloria and Murekatete, which showcased his love for music.
Mukuralinda leaves behind a legacy of public service and artistic contributions to Rwanda.
