Since beginning its operations in Rwanda, Equity Bank has built more than a financial institution; it has nurtured a community founded on trust, partnership, and mutual growth.
This ethos has transformed customers into members, partners, and family. Throughout the past month, the Bank has conducted customer appreciation activities across all branches nationwide.
The 'Ndi Umunyamuryango' campaign will build upon this foundation by inviting customers (members) to share their experiences, success stories, and suggestions, while showcasing the benefits of belonging to the Equity family.
Running through the festive season, the campaign also aims to recognize and reward members who actively engage with Equity's banking channels, including mobile banking, card usage, and school payment platforms.
Among those who have already been recognized are two Equity Bank agents, who were acknowledged for opening the newest accounts and serving the highest number of customers. One school also stood out for its exceptional use of SchoolGEAR technology and its active engagement with parents.
In addition, merchants who accepted the highest number of payments through Equity Bank cards were celebrated for their contributions.
Others include a client who was recognized for making the highest number of transactions via the Equity Mobile App, and a customer honored for recording the highest volume of card transactions.
These recognitions will continue throughout the festive season, with additional rewards for members who open new accounts or reactivate dormant ones as part of the Bank's ongoing drive to promote financial inclusion and digital adoption.
